  *                 users who run IMS Database Reorganization    *
  *                 Expert Version 4 Release 1.                  *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IMS HP Image Copy issues FABJ3916E      *
  *                      message and terminates with ABEND       *
  *                      U3916 ( ABENDU3916 ) due to the error   *
  *                      in dynamic allocation for DD: %NO of    *
  *                      PHIDAM or PHDAM database with RC=0C     *
  *                      RSN=035C0001 when it is scheduled by    *
  *                      IMS Database Reorganization Expert.     *
  *                                                              *
  *                      The trouble occurs under following      *
  *                      conditions:                             *
  *                      - Target databases of Reorganization    *
  *                        are PHIDAM or PHDAM with PSINDEX      *
  *                        database.                             *
  *                      - The master DBD name of PHIDAM or      *
  *                        PHDAM is provided only on the IC      *
  *                        or AIC statement in ICEIN DD.         *
  *                      - Virtual image copy process is         *
  *                        applied for PSINDEX.                  *

  IMS HP Image Copy issues FABJ3916E message and terminates with
  ABEND U3916 ( ABENDU3916 ) due to the error in dynamic
  allocation for DD: %NO of PHIDAM or PHDAM database with RC=0C
  RSN=035C0001 when it is scheduled by IMS Database
  Reorganization Expert.
  The trouble occurs under following conditions:
  - Target databases of Reorganization are PHIDAM or PHDAM
    with PSINDEX database.
  - The master DBD name of PHIDAM or PHDAM is provided only on
    the IC or AIC statement in ICEIN DD.
  - Virtual image copy process is applied for PSINDEX.
    (VIC=Y or HDPC=O)
  
  IMS HP Image Copy refers the list of target databases of
  reorganization and IC or AIC statement in ICEIN DD, and
  creates its own control block for image copy process
  internally.
  When  IC or AIC statement for master DBD of PHIDAM or PHDAM is
  only provided, IMS HP Image Copy applies functional option for
  PSINDEX to one of database data sets of PHIDAM or PHDAM in its
  control block incorrectly. Then IMS HP image Copy assigns DD
  name %NO which is for the virtual image copy process to
  non-index database data set as an output image copy data set.
  As the result, the dynamic allocation process for the physical
  image copy data set finds unacceptable DD name convention and
  it fails.
  

Problem conclusion

• IMS HP Image Copy avoids to refer and apply the control
  information of PSINDEX, when it builds the control block of
  PHIDAM or PHDAM on the target database list of reorganization.
