    ****************************************************************
Running collective command in z/OS results in a n FSUM7332
    syntax error message.

The reason for this is that the script is in ASCII format,
whereas it should be in EBCDIC format.

Problem conclusion

  • The collective script is in ASCII format. The script should be
in EBCDIC format. The code was updated to output the correct
encoding format for the scripts affected.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 17.0.0.2. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
    delivery information:

Temporary fix

  • As a workaround, the user may modify the shell script file (e.g.
    collective.sh) to use EBCDIC encoding.
