APAR status

Error description

  • Problem Description/Reason for Collaboration:
    When configuring facets within WEXAC v11.0.03 and v11.0.1.0,
    Admin UI produces error when editing the field name definitions.
    Environment:
    Windows OS
    WEXAC 11.0.0.3 and 11.0.1.0
    Actions Taken/Things Tried:
    1. Create a search collection, Click "Facet" under the "Parse
    and Index"
    2. Create a facet and give it a "Flat facet" type.
    3. Click edit on the "flat facet" type, and add a field.
    4. Select an index field to map to this facet. The error
    occurs for all fields.
    5. Click the field name.
    6. Error message:
    "context root not found"
    

Local fix

  • Apply one of the following debug modules to resolve the facet
    definition issue.
    WEX11.0.0.3.

    Procedure:
    1. Stop Admin session by running "esadmin admin stop"
    2. Rename ESAdmin.jar file to ESAdmin.jar.BACKUP_OLD the
    following
    files:
    %$ES_INSTALL_ROOT%/wlpapps/servers/admin/apps/ESAdmin.ear/ESAdmi
    n.war/WE
    B-INF/lib/ESAdmin.jar
    3. Start the admin session by "esadmin admin start"
    4. Update the following files by the debug module
    %$ES_INSTALL_ROOT%/wlpapps/servers/admin/apps/ESAdmin.ear/ESAdmi
    n.war/WE
    B-INF/lib/ESAdmin.jar
    5. restart the admin session by "esadmin admin stop" and
    "esadmin admin
    start"
    If you still receive the same issue, please action the
    following:
    - Clear workarea (procedure below)
    - Clear browser cache
    For clearing workarea, see following steps:
      1. Stop admin session by the command:
        esadmin admin stop
      2. Clear cache files by elasing
    $ES_INSTALL_ROOT/wlpapps/servers/admin/workarea directory.
      3. Start admin session by the command:
        esadmin admin start

  • Problem resolved with version 11.0.2.
