Error description

  • The "Map users/groups" page under "Security role to user/group
    mapping" for applications does not automatically show
    the'Available' multi-select box of users to map. Instead it
    shows the "User short name" and "Unique user ID" text fields
    when the page initially loads.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The "Map users/groups" page under       *

    *                      does not automatically show 'Available' *
    *                      users to map.                           *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The "Map users/groups" page under "Security role to user/group
    mapping" for applications does not automatically show
    'Available' users to map. Instead it shows the "User short name"
    and "Unique user ID" text fields when the page initially loads.
    Since the unique/user id fields are visible a description
    stating that "the selected realm cannot be accessed at this
    time" comes up, even when a user with a defined realm exists.
    The 'Available' multi-select box should show up automatically if
    a user with a defined realm exists.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The corresponding variables were initialized properly and now
    the 'Available' multi-select box shows up the first time the
    page loads.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.0.0.13, 8.5.5.11, 9.0.0.2.  Please refer to the
