Error description

• The lockmgr documentation for IBM Rational ClearCase 8.0.1 and
  later is incorrect.
  
  The "number of supported VOBS" listed in the -f is for the OLD
  defaults of -f 256 on Unix and -f 128 on Windows. As no
  supported release on Unix still uses the old lock manager, this
  value does not apply any longer.
  
  In ClearCase 8.0.1.9 and later, the max value for -u is 2042.
