PI65333: A JSP ERROR "UNRESOLVED COMPILATION PROBLEM" IS THROWN DURING RUNTIME

Error description

The JSP is successfully compiled when using jspbatchcompiler,
but generated the below error during runtime:

Local fix

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Some JSP files are compiled             *
*                      successfully but, during runtime,       *
*                      throw an unexpected java.lang.Error     *
*                      with the following message:             *
*                      Unresolved compilation problem.         *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:  Set the following JSP property to true:     *
*                  useJDKCompiler                              *
*                  This change will allow the JSP container to *
*                  compile using the compiler provided by the  *
*                  Java SDK in use.                            *
****************************************************************
A runtime java.lang.Error will be thrown if a JSP page contains
a scriptlet with code looking like this:
<%
long testLong = (null == request.getAttribute("test"))?0:
(Long)request.getAttribute("test");
%>
Where this cast triggers the problem, even when it is a valid
Java statement:
(Long)request.getAttribute("test")

Problem conclusion

The JSP engine was modified to successfully compile and to not
throw the java.lang.Error mentioned above.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.5.5.11, 9.0.0.2, and 16.0.0.3.  Please refer to
