APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • UTILITY - OO - Online reorg - PANEL ADB2US, with Review/change
option NO, when generated JCL is displayed, can not exit JCL
with F3, CAN or END. Instead Admin loops back to JCL. Must use
PA1 or ATTN key to exit DB2 Admin Tool.

Local fix

  • On panel ADB2US specify 'YES' for the Review/change option.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Can not exit JCL after using line       *
*                      command OO - 'Online Reorg' and on      *
*                      panel ADB2US 'Table Space Utilities'    *
*                      and specifying 'NO' for the Review/     *
*                      change option.                          *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

When using line command OO - 'Online Reorg' and on panel ADB2US
specifying 'NO' for the Review/change option, pressing enter
builds the JCL. When pressing F3 to exit, DB2 Admin Tool
displays the JCL again and does not go back to panel ADB2US.
