• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If a decompression error occurs on a record from a table in IDLE
  status, the retry logic will be exercised and a message issued
  "CHC0619W DB2 has returned a temporary log data decompression
  error to subscription Name at LRSN position for DBID = #, PSETID
  = #, OBID = #".

  *                      tables any log record decompression     *
  *                      errors on the idle tables will be       *
  *                      unnecessarily retried. This can cause   *
  *                      delays in replication for active        *
  *                      tables.                                 *

  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY CORRECTIVE SERVICE                     *
  ****************************************************************
  In an IDAA enviroment, the log records of all tables in a
  subscription are read in case the table is later dynamically
  activated. The code for handling decompression errors for idle
  tables should be disabled as long as they are idle, because the
  issue is likely to have been resolved when the tables are later
  activated.
  

Problem conclusion

• Several modules were updated to correct the issue.
