PI64328: FILES IN THE <WAS_INSTALL>/PROPERTIES FOLDER ARE BEING OVERWRITTEN WHEN FIX PACKS ARE INSTALLED

Error description

The client is able to customize these files,
/usr/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/properties/converter.properties
but when fix packs are installed these files are getting
overwritten.
The client's customization is getting lost. These files should
not be updated, overwritten or updated to default when fix
packs are installed.

The file properties/converter.properties may be updated by
customers and it should not be touched by Installation Manager
when updating fix packs. However, it is not put in the fix
pack NSF file listing. Therefore, when Installation Manager
updates WebSphere Application Server to new fix pack levels,
it will replace the installed
WAS_installation_root/properties/converter.properties with
the fix pack carried version.

Problem conclusion

The fix was made to put it in the NSF file listing.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 9.0.0.1 and 8.5.5.11.  Please refer to the
