• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Only 64/63 bit JVM is available on v9.  When 32 bit, it is
  usually ignored.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED:  All users of IBM WebSphere Application      *
  *                  Server V9.0 using the administrative        *
  *                  console to manage ZOS servers.              *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The checkbox that allows servers to     *
  *                      be changed from 32 bit to 64 bit was    *
  *                      left some server panels.                *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:  Don't uncheck the 64 bit checkboxes on the  *
  *                  server panels because the servers will      *
  *                  always run in 64 bit.                       *
  ****************************************************************
  Checkboxes were not removed like they should have been.
  

Problem conclusion

• The 32bit/64bit checkbox was removed from panels because the
  servers alway run in 64 bit.
  
  APAR PI64087 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Pack
  9.0.0.1 of WebSphere Application Server.
