Error description

  • Performance issue caused by lock contention when creating tag
    handlers.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Performance issue when running an       *
    *                      application with multiple JSP custom    *

    In Java EE7 tag handlers, which implement custom tags, can use
    CDI injection. Lock contention became an issue when
    determining injection points for these objects during object
    creation.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The locking mechanism used when determinig injection targets
    was made more granular to reduce lock contention.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 9.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
    page for delivery information:
