Error description

ABEND SEC3,RSN=0406002C does not terminate a WebSphere node
agent.

*                      controller abended with EC3 and reason  *
*                      0406002C and failed to terminate.       *

The controller took a ABENDEC3,RSN=0406002C which indicates it
failed to expand a native request pool.  The result of failing
to expand this pool is that no new requests can enter the
server.  The Abend was delivered to our signal handler but our
handler failed to initiate the termination of the address
space.
The server continued on for an additional period before hitting
another RAS trigger which then caused the controller to
terminate (REASON=C9C21246).

Problem conclusion

Code has been modified within our signal handler to initiate
address space terminate for ABENDSEC3 and reasons 0406002C and
0406002D.

APAR PI63822 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Packs
8.0.0.13, 8.5.5.11, and 9.0.0.2 of WebSphere Application
Server.
