PI63709: Application exception thrown from EJB constructor lost when @Aro undConstruct interceptors present

Error description

When an EJB constructor throws an application exception, the
EJB Container will catch and discard the exception,
replacing it with an EJBException when @AroundConstruct
interceptors are present.  The original application
exception should be available as a cause.

When an EJB constructor throws an application exception, the EJB
Container will catch and discard the exception, replacing it
with an EJBException when @AroundConstruct interceptors are
present.  The original application exception should be available
as a cause.

Problem conclusion

Exception handling by the EJB container has been improved.
Exceptions thrown by an application from an EJB constructor will
no longer be discarded.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 16.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
