  systemctl start rabbittmq.service
  
  It should state instead:
  
  systemctl start rabbittmq-server.service
  

Local fix

• You can see the correct name of the service with the following
  command:
  
  $ systemctl -a | grep rabbit
    rabbitmq-server.service     loaded    active   running
  RabbitMQ broker
