Error description

In the console, when attempting to add a remote cell for
Intelligent Management for web servers, after clicking OK,
user
is sent back to the Intelligent Management configuration
screen
and no additional information is added in the Remote cells
section of the page.

In the console, when attempting to add a remote cell for
Intelligent Management for web servers, after clicking OK, you
are sent back to the Intelligent Management configuration screen
and no additional information is added in the Remote cells
section of the page.
Error occurred as the result of an NulPointerException or when
adding a remote cell that was not compatible.

Problem conclusion

The error occurred as the result of a NullPointerException or
when adding a remote cell that was not compatible. NPE was
handled, and an error message is now logged in the case when the
remote cell is not compatible.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 8.5.5.11.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
