PI62856: IBM TOOLS BASE SCRUB UTILITY, S0C7 CAUSED BY INCORRECT SCRUB JCLIN DUE TO A PARTICULAR SEQUENCE OF MAINTENANCE APPLIED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IBM Tools Base Scrub utility, S0C7 caused by incorrect Scrub
  JCLIN due to the sequence of maintenance applied after PTF
  UI24703 was applied and accepted.
  The following PTFs were erroneously shipped with an old version
  of the SCRUB utility JCLIN for FUDIMSPI: UI26004; UI26177;
  UI23653; UI28384; UI29629; UI30038; UI32070. These PTFs haves
  since been marked PE and replaced/superseded by PTFs UI35792 and
  UI36352 which this PTF will prereq.
  

Local fix

• As a work around, until a PTF can be provided for this APAR, you
  can do the following to correct the 0C7 abend:
  1. If PTF UI24703 has been applied but not accepted then simply
  do an APPLY  REDO of PTF UI24703 to fix the 0C7.
  2. If PTF UI24703 has been accepted then you will need to
  restore a version of your Tools Base libraries before UI24703
  was accepted or applied or begin by installing a new copy of
  Tools Base product. Then APPLY all maintenance to bring you up
  to date.

  NOTE: Make sure you install PTF UI24703 last; followed by any
  maintenance that PREREQs PTF UI24703 .
