APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Similar to the warning displayed when clicking Close represented
  as 'X' on the Record page, the warning should also be shown for
  clicking "Cancel" button on New Record page when submitting a
  new Record.
  
  Risk of data loss.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  
  1. Login to the ClearQuest Web.
  
  2. Click to submit a new Record.
  
  3. If you click in the "X" (Close) from the new record Tab, you
  will receive the message: "Warning: All changes will be lost"
  
  4. If you click on "Cancel", *no* warning message is displayed.
  The Record is simply closed and you can have data lost.
  
  This behavior occurs with IBM Rational ClearQuest Web client
  only.
  
  For the other ClearQuest clients (Eclipse or Windows), we have a
  warning message when trying to use the "X" or "Cancel" button
  for a new Record submission.

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available in ClearQuest 9.0.1.4.
