When a job fails in the middle of a chunk step the
persistent user data and the metrics will have incorrect
values.

When a job fails in the middle of a chunk step the persistent
user data is incorrect and the metrics values are not being
rolled back properly.  When that job is restarted it will
continue with incorrect data.

Problem conclusion

The problem was solved by rolling back the metrics to their
proper values and correcting the persistent user data.  The
COMMIT_COUNT, READ_COUNT, FILTER_COUNT, and the WRITE_COUNT are
currently the 4 metrics rolled back when this problem occurs.
They are rolled back to the values of the last successful
commit.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 16.0.0.2. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
