Error description

  • When using the IBM WebSphere TX DB2 adapter on the z/OS
platform, it may be observed that incorrect values are inserted
into fields of a DB2 table when they are defined as 'not null'
    and a null is mapped.

The map should fail but instead it may insert the value from the
    previous row.

Local fix

  • WTXCQ - WTX00048492
    PB / PB
As a workaround, ensure that the rules of the map are designed
in such a way as to ensure a NULL is never the value mapped to a
field defined in DB2 as 'not null'
