Problem summary

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The invalidateAllCache on the *
    * proxy server mBean does not clear the *
    * cache if the internal state of the *
    *                      cache is corrupted.                     *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The proxy server (or ODR) uses a pre-invalidation listener to
    approve invalidation of cached items. If the internal state
    of the cache is corrupted the proxy server may deny all
    invalidation requests originating from dynacache or the proxy
    server mBean.

Problem conclusion

  • A custom property is being introduced to force the proxy
    server to honor a cache clear all request.

    Navigate to:
    Proxy servers > proxyname > Proxy settings > Custom properties

    or

    On Demand Routers > odrname > On Demand Router settings > Custom
    properties

    and add the property dynacache.extension.always.clear.cache
    with value true.

    This property should only be set if instructed by WebSphere
    Application Server support.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 8.5.5.11 and 9.0.0.1. Please refer to the
