Error description

  • An RC00F30052 is received because the customer is shutting
    down RRS. DB2 gets the shutdown notification from RRS and
    sets a flag in each active RRSAF thread to reject further
    API calls with FRBRC2 RC00F30052. The DB2 thread will then
    be scheduled for termination.
    After RRS began shutting down. OMPE issued messages:
    FPEV2714E RDB2 READA COLLECTOR SUPPORT TASK - IFI ERROR
    ON READA CALL. RC 8, REASON 00F30052
    KO2O1347E NEAR-TERM HISTORY DATA COLLECTOR - READA/READS
    FAILED. RETURN CODE 00000008 RDB2 (CHECKRET)
    KO2O1348E NEAR-TERM HISTORY DATA COLLECTOR - READA/READS
    FAILED. REASON CODE 00F30052 RDB2 (CHECKRET)
    And a dump was taken with title:
    OMEGAMON II FOR DB2: DAE-DRIVEN SDUMP, JOB=CANSO2  ,
    LMOD=KO2HIFIK  , CSECT=O2ICOL  , OFFSET=003724

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    The user began shutting down RRS, followed by a stop command
    for the Omegamon Collector started task. DB2 began rejecting
    IFI READA/S requests from RRSAF threads with RC00F30052 as
    the recovery coordinator (RRS) is terminating. This resulted
    in error messages:
    KO2O1347E NEAR-TERM HISTORY DATA COLLECTOR - READA/READS
    FAILED. RETURN CODE 00000008 RDB2 (CHECKRET)
    KO2O1348E NEAR-TERM HISTORY DATA COLLECTOR - READA/READS
    FAILED. REASON CODE 00F30052 RDB2 (CHECKRET)
    and an unnecessary dump was taken with dump title:
    OMEGAMON II FOR DB2: DAE-DRIVEN SDUMP, JOB=CANSO2,
    LMOD=KO2HIFIK, CSECT=O2ICOL  , OFFSET=003724

    PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
    O2ICOL has been changed to bypass the dump request for the
    IFI READA/READS error with RC00F30052.
