  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Stored procedure was disabled after     *
  *                      DB2 soft cancel abend (04E/00E50013)    *
  *                      happened.                               *
  *                      DSNX906I or DSNX905I message was        *
  *                      issued on the console and the stored    *
  *                      procedure status changed to STOPABN     *
  *                      if the maximum allowed abend count      *
  *                      was exceeded.                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  During stored procedure processing, DB2 issued a soft
  cancel abend (04E/00E50013). The abend happened in a
  timing window where a pointer of a DB2 control
  block had not been set. During the stored procedure
  recovery processing, DB2 checked the pointer and set
  a flag to indicate that the stored procedure itself
  abended and issued DSNX906I or DSNX905I message.
  Also the stored procedure would be disabled if the
  maximum allowed abend count exceeded.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code that processes stored procedure has been changed
  so that in that type of DB2 soft cancel abend, the stored
  procedure won't be disabled.
