PI60063: TOKEN LICENSES WILL NOT CHECK OUT FROM REDUNDANT SERVER TRIADS UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS ON HP-UX HOSTS

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using IBM Rational License Key Server in a "redundant
  triad" configuration to serve token licenses, HP-UX hosts may
  not be able to check out licenses if the "header" license for
  the product is in use by another user.
  
  The following error will occur, and no attempt to check out a
  token license will occur (using ClearCase as an example):

Local fix

• This issue only occurs on HP-UX hosts. All tested client OS's
  other than HP-UX do not experience this issue.

Problem conclusion

• The correct job handle is now in use. The problem is now fixed
