Error description
When you are using EJB Java client applications that are looking up EJB objects via JNDI-name on server-side and you stop the servers and clusters, the node-agents still allow lookup for these EJB objects even though the servers are already stoped. This may lead to corba-exceptions on the client side, because the naming-object returns, but the EJB object is not reachable anymore. Disable the name server cache for Corba object URLs prevents the problem from happening.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Not able to disable name server cache * * for Corba object URLs. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** There is no mechanism to disable name server cache for Corba object URLs.
Problem conclusion
Changed the name server implementation to provide a way to disable name server cache for Corba object URLs. To disable the cache, an end user needs to set the JVM custom property "com.ibm.websphere.naming.disableNameServerCacheForCorbaUrl" to true. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.10.
