PI59595: DIRECTORY DATASETS MAY SHOW AS 'NON-DB2' DATASETS DURING SUBSYSTEM ANALYSIS AND CONFIGURATION

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Directory Datasets may show as 'non-db2' datasets during
  "Subsystem Analysis and Configuration".   After this fix is
  applied the directory datasets used by the 'Administrative task
  scheduler'  will be marked as a "DB2 dataset".

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If the Runtime Capture step (Program    *
  *                      HAA#BTMP) is generated following a      *
  *                      Check Data Utility, the step will loop  *
  *                      and the job will have to be cancelled.  *
  *                      The Runtime Capture step is generated   *
  *                      if the Job Profile parameter 'Capture   *
  *                      run times for Load Balancing'  is set   *
  *                      to Y. The capture of runtimes is not    *
  *                      supported for Check Data. This APAR     *
  *                      will suppress the generation of the     *
  *                      HAA#BTMP step following a Check Data    *
  *                      utility even if the Job Profile         *
  *                      parameter is set to Y.                  *

  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *

  Code has been changed to correct this condition.
