Disabled verbose logging of SFS session-level lock wait/retry processing when a deadlock condition is encountered. . Modify WAKEUP options to ignore non-SMSG traffic . Corrects an issue where Archive Manager service virtual machines would attempt to process responses from Tape Manager as commands. . Staging area cleanup for excessively large archive transactions . Corrects an issue where staging area storage could not be fully recovered when an archive transaction generated more data than the staging area could contain. . Intelligent tape volser retention . This change modifies processing for TAPE storage classes such that multiple transactions involving a single volser will be queued on the same AMVWRKnn service virtual machine. . Extended handling of staged parcels pending migration to tape . Corrects an issue where parcel data could be held in staging storage if initial migration is unsuccessful. Archive Administrators can use QUERY PENDING to identify unmigrated parcels, and RETRY PENDING to re-drive migration processing. . Handling of empty tape volsers . This change ensures that when all parcels resident on a tape volser have expired, the volser is fully removed from the Archive Catalog. .
