Error description

• HKTDBLDB, offset X'7F0': Abend S0C4-X'11' occurs, when HALDB
  master DBD name is registered but no PART is registered in the
  RECON data sets.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: IBM Tools Base for z/OS V1.5 users who run   *
  *                 the IMS Tools Discovery Utility (HKTDDSCO),  *
  *                 or who use Autonomics Director client        *
  *                 interface on ISPF                            *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When HALDB partition or DEDB area is    *
  *                      not registered to RECON,  the IMS       *
  *                      Tools Discovery Utility (HKTDDSCO)      *
  *                      gets system abend 0C4 reason code       *
  *                      X'11', and the Autonomics Director      *
  *                      (for IMS) server gets system abend      *
  *                      0C4 in the module IAVDSAD3.             *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  HKTDDSC0 abend 0C4 occurs in one of the following conditions:
  - HALDB PART is not registered to RECON
  - DEDB ADS or DBDS is not registered to RECON
  Autonomics Director server abend 0C4 occurs in the following
  condition:
  - HALDB PART is not registered to RECON, and Add or Expand is
  selected for the HALDB during managing monitor list in the
  Autonomics Director client interface on ISPF.
  

Problem conclusion

• System ABEND 0C4 is resolved by checking RECON record is
  strengthened. The following actions will be taken
  after 0C4 is resolved:
  
  HKTDDSC0
  
   - When HALDB master DBD or PART is not registered to
     RECON, HKTDDSC0 issues HKTD494W message,
     skips the database, and continue processing the
     other databases.
     HKTD494W VALIDATION FAILED - DBD xxxxxxxx SKIPPED
  
   - When DEDB ADS or DBDS is not registered to RECON,
     HKTDDSC0 processes the DEDB with retrieving the
     information from DBD instead of RECON.
  
  Autonomics Director Server
  
   - When HALDB master DBD or PART is not registered to RECON
    and Add or Expand is selected for the HALDB during managing
     monitor list, HKTDAPI GET PARTITION DATA FROM RECON FAILED
     message appears on ISPF panel and Add or Expand failed.
