Error description

There is a small timing window that causes this dead lock.
When
the predictor custom property is changed during the starting
up
time of the APC, this dead lock may happen.

Local fix

Restart the APC without updating the predictor custom property.

There is a small timing window that causes the application
placement controller (APC) to get in a deadlock situation when
the APC.predictor custom property is changed during the starting
up time of the APC.

Problem conclusion

The programming issues have been identified and corrected.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 8.5.5.10.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
