Error description

  • After this PTF, Tools Customizer will allow the user to
    continue the customizing job on Workplace panel without
    encountering the message CCQS036E.

Problem summary

    * USERS AFFECTED: Users of IBM DB2 Tools Customizer z/OS.      *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Prior to this PTF.  Tools Customizer    *
    *                      expected the Customization Library to   *
    *                      remain on the same VOL=SER.  If the     *
    *                      Customization Library was moved to      *
    *                      another volume, for example due to HSM  *
    *                      or other dataset management processing, *
    *                      error message CCQS036E resulted         *
    *                      stopping further Tools Customizer       *
    *                      processing.                             *
    *                                                              *
    *                      After this PTF, Tools Customizer will   *
    *                      allow the user to continue the          *
    *                      customizing job on Workplace panel      *
    *                      without encountering the message        *
    *                      CCQS036E.                               *
    *                                                              *
    *                      Also.  Although unlikely.  There was    *
    *                      an issue where if a 2nd DATASTOR was    *
    *                      created, in the same session, this 2nd  *
    *                      DATASTOR was created missing            *
    *                      information like the LPAR. This PTF     *
    *                      corrects this issue ensuring the 2nd    *
    *                      DATASTOR gets created correctly.        *

    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *

    Code has been changed to correct this condition.
