Error description

  • Migrating a project to Rational Appplication Developer 9.5 is
generating error:
Source folder '.apt_generated' in project ...  cannot output to
distinct source folder ...

When an extra source folder is added, and the output folder
value is the same that a source folder, you will get a Java
Build Path problem:
Source folder ... in project ... cannot output to distinct
source folder ...

Local fix

  • The solution is to change the output folder.
