Error description

• When working in an IBM Rational ClearCase dynamic view and
  running the gnuwin32 cp.exe command, you may find that the file
  is not truncated correctly.
  
  WORKAROUND:
  
  Use the native OS copy command.

Problem conclusion

• A problem which could cause files to not be correctly truncated
  has been fixed in ClearCase versions 8.0.0.18, 8.0.1.11, and
  9.0.0.1.
