Error description

  • MSGFABP3577E is wrongly issued when running HDPC with HASH=NO
    for the following databases:
    - Bidirectional virtually paired logical relationships are
    defined between a HISAM database and an HD database.
    - The logical child last pointer is defined in logical parent
    segments of the HISAM database.
    - Logical child segment occurrences reside in blocks that exceed
    4 GB boundary in the HD database.

    HD Pointer Checker (HDPC) wrongly issues MSGFABP3577E when the
    following conditions are met:
    - HASH=NO is specified in the PROCCTL statement when running
      HDPC stand-alone jobs.
    - Bidirectional virtually paired logical relationships are
      defined between a HISAM database and an HD (HDAM or HIDAM)
      database.
    - The logical child last (LCL) pointer is defined in logical
      parent segments of the HISAM database.
    - Logical child segment occurrences reside in blocks that exceed
      4 GB boundary in the HDAM or HIDAM database.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The FABPSHI0 module has been modified to fix the error.
