PI55070: EQQY803E ISSUED INCORRECTLY IF THERE IS A WILD-CARDED VALUE FOR ADID AND A NON-WILDCARDED VALUE FOR OWNER

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Using BCIT ( EQQYCAIN ) with:
  ACTION=OPTIONS,BL=Y,BLPRT=Y,LTP=N;
  ACTION=DELETE,RESOURCE=AD,ADID=IBM#*,OWNER=IBM001.
  
  We got RC=4 and error message EQQY803E.
  However, there's matched resource in our AD.
  .
  Test scenario to illustrate this:
  .
  1) define 5 ADID:
     ADID=IBM#TEST1;OWNER=IBM000;
     ADID=IBM#TEST2;OWNER=IBM001;
     ADID=IBM#TEST3;OWNER=IBM001;
     ADID=IBM#TEST4;OWNER=IBM000;
     ADID=IBM#TEST5;OWNER=IBM001;
  2) submit JCL with instruction as follow:
     ACTION=DELETE,RESOURCE=AD,ADID=IBM#*,OWNER=IBM001.
     result: JCL RC=4, EQQY803E;
             EQQY803I VALUES USED:IBM#TEST1IBM001 AP
  3) submit JCL with instruction as follow:
     ACTION=DELETE,RESOURCE=AD,ADID=IBM#*,OWNER=IBM000.
     result: only the first IBM#TEST1 was deleted.
             JCL RC=4, EQQY803E;
             EQQY803I VALUES USED:IBM#TEST2IBM000 AP
             EQQYCDAD:DELETE AD     IBM#TEST1     RC=00
  4) submit JCL with instruction as follow after 'IBM#TEST1' was
  deleted
  in step#3:
     ACTION=DELETE,RESOURCE=AD,ADID=IBM#*,OWNER=IBM001.
     result: the first two ADID "IBM#TEST2" & "IBM#TEST3" were
  deleted,
  not "IBM#TEST5".
             JCL RC=4, EQQY803E;
             EQQY803I VALUES USED:IBM#TEST4IBM001 AP
  
  If both ADID and OWNER have wild-card values:
  ACTION=DELETE,RESOURCE=AD,ADID=IBM#*,OWNER=IBM001.
  then all the applications are deleted and no error message
  is issued.
