Error description
Customer reports that when specifying a wildcard character on the TEST DBRM command, Path Checker generates inconsistent results when the specific DBRM is specified on the TEST DBRM command. For example the following two scenarios: Running Path Checker with the following command: TEST DBRM * AS PACKAGE VERCOL1.* IN SYSADM.PLAN_TABLE The SYSPRINT show ACCESS PATH changes for COLLID - VERCOL1 .PGMV1T2 But running Path Checker specifying DBRM PGMV1T2 as follows: TEST DBRM PGMV1T2 AS PACKAGE VERCOL1.* IN SYSADM.PLAN_TABLE The SYSPRINT shows no ACCESS PATH changes for
Local fix
Until PTF is applied, do not use "TEST DBRM *" as a wild card test of all DBRMs. Instead use explicit TESTs, specifying the DBRM name in full.
