    *                      header.                                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When decrypting an encrypted element in a SOAP header, it
    calls the
    com.ibm.ws.webservices.engin.xmlsoap.SOAPElement.insertBefore
    method. This method can run into an infinite loop when the
    node's type is DOCUMENT_FRAGMENT_NODE. It will eventually
    cause an OutOfMemoryError to be thrown. One of the key lines
    of the stack trace looks like the following:
    ....
    at
    com/ibm/ws/webservices/engine/xmlsoap/SOAPElement.insertBefore
    (SOAPElement.java:1896(Compiled Code))
    ....

Problem conclusion

  • When the node's type is DOCUMENT_FRAGMENT_NODE, we will skip
    insert node. This fix corrects the reported problem.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.10. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
