Error description

  • When working in an IBM Rational ClearCase dynamic view on
    versions 8.0.1.9 or later, you may experience a Microsoft STOP
    error (BSOD) of BAD_POOL_HEADER (19) ,  IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    (a) or DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1).
    .
    Workaround:  Until the issue is resolved, you should roll back
    to 8.0.1.8,  if possible.

Problem conclusion

  • A defect in the ClearCase MVFS filesystem has been fixed, to
    eliminate the cause of certain Microsoft STOP error system
    crashes. The stop codes may have been BAD_POOL_HEADER (19) ,
    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a) or DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    (d1).
