  result has too many digits for the instruction being generated.
  This problem is specific to ARCH(11) at OPT(1|2).

• Compile at a lower ARCH() level, such as ARCH(10).

  The compiler was performing an optimization that generated an
  unwanted truncation of packed-decimal data. The compiler
  recognized the problem and intentionally abended, rather than
  generate incorrect code.

  cases that would generate unwanted truncations.
