    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    CSQM1P1W is called when a message arrives on a queue, and
    attempts to post the ECB for a waiting handle. However, before
    the handle is posted, the getting application goes through EOT
    processing and the BLOA containing the ECB is freed. As a
    result, the post operation abends 0C4 and is retried by the POST
    recovery routine.

Problem conclusion

  • CSQM1P1W is changed to detect that there are tasks in EOT
    processing in the getter's address space, and if so, to check
    that the TCB associated with the handle being posted is still
    active before attempting to post its ECB.
