Error description

  • Currently the SMF70SER and SMF89SER fields are six characters
however TDSz shows only 4 for example in SMF70SER. Since
other products/tools show either 5 or 6 characters for serial
number TDS z/OS should be modified to do the same.

SMF fields SMF70SER and SMF89SER contain a 6 digit CPU serial
number, but TDSz collects only the last 4 digits of these 6
digits to column CPU_SERIAL_NO.

either the SMF field SMF70SER or the SMF field SMF89SER.

The existing column CPU_SERIAL_NO, is unchanged.

The System Performance Feature Reference Volume I is
updated to reflect these changes.
