  The life cycle annotation @PostConstruct and @PreDestroy on a
  user customized provider which registers in a JAX-RS 2.0
  Application sub-class's getClasses method doesn't work, or
  throws Null Pointer Exception during the stop server process.
  

Problem conclusion

• The per-request provider instance is now held by the server side
  and invokes the method that annotated with @PostConstruct and
  @PreDestroy when the instance is constructed and before it is
  destroyed.
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
  pack 8.5.5.9.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
  delivery information:

Temporary fix

• For annotation @PreDestroy, can register in method
  getSingletons.
