Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: MDBs using listener ports fail to       *
  *                      start due to a                          *
  *                      java.io.NotSerializableException        *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  When starting a listener port an internal object which
  references a ConnectionFactory must be serialized.  Another
  internal component had set a non-Serializable object as a
  property of the ConnectionFactory making it non-Serializable.
  This causes the start of the listener port to fail.
  

Problem conclusion

• The messaging component was modified to account for the presence
  of the non-Serializable internal property set on the
  ConnectionFactory when serializing the object.
  
  APAR PI50110 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Pack
  7.0.0.39 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0..
