PI49940: ABEND0C7 IPIAVDEC AT X'43E' AND INCORRECT RESULTS IN MGRX SUMMARY REPORT

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Two related issues addressed:
  1) ABENDS0C7 IPIAVDEC at x'43e'.  When processing values in an
     Averages data set an overflow exception is triggered when
     values exceed approximately 26.8 billion.
  2) Incorrect results in MGRX Summary report. When creating the
     'Management Exceptions Summary' report, the Averages
     transaction count field is incorrectly formatted resulting
     in invalid data being presented. The data may appear
     something like as follows:

  This APAR addresses the following issues:
  1. When processing values in an Averages data set an overflow
     exception is triggered when values exceed approximately
     26.8billion.
  2. When creating the 'Management Exceptions Summary' report,
     the Averages transaction count field is incorrectly formatted
     resulting in invalid data being presented.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following changes have been made for the above issues:
  1. Allow for processing of values in excess of 26.8billion.
  2. Correct formatting of Averages results in the Summary section
     of the Management Exceptions report.
