  • OPC abends with S0C4 and S0C6 when the main task and the sub
task use the same save area for cleaning the obtained work
areas.

One known ABENDS0C4 is out of FPXAWMV1 at x'022C' and an
ABENDS0C6 was seen following (as a result of the S0C4).

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

Fast Path Online Tools use a macro FPXMVCL to clean the
obtained work areas. When both the main task and the sub task
call FPXMVCL at the same time, the save area might be destroyed,
which results in abends.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fast Path Online Tools have been modified to use different save
areas in macro FPXMVCL for the main task and the sub task.
