  • DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS does not allow for alternate
    Collection ID during Customization process
    

Local fix

  • Customer has to modify ADBBIND job manually to chose use the
    alternate Collection ID of their choosing

    The IBM Tools Customizer panel flow has no provisions to
    override the collection identifier for binding DB2 Admin
    packages.

    added on panel CCQPDB2 'DB2 Parameters':

      COLLECTION ID  . . . . . . . . . . . . . .      >
    
    INSTRUCTIONS:
    1. Invoke IBM Tools Customizer for z/OS via DB2
       Admin and specify the desired collection identifier
       name in the 'COLLECTION ID' field on panel
       CCQPPRD 'Product Parameters' or on panel
       CCQPDB2 'DB2 Parameters', or accept the
       default which is 'ADBL'.
    
    2. On panel CCQPWRK 'Customizer Workplace' use
       the 'G - Generate' line command to regenerate jobs.
    
    3. On panel CCQPCST 'Finish Product Customization',
       use line command 'E - Edit' to select job template
       ADBBIND 'Binds' and Submit the job.
