    ****************************************************************
The following error is seen when attempting to register,
analyze, run and recover a table after an alter:

    DSNT301I #SSID- INVALID DATA BASE >dbname<
    DSN9022I #SSID- DSNTDDIS 'START DATABASE'
    NORMAL COMPLETION

because the database name has been changed to another random
value by DB2 after recreating the table and running the
    original change.

Problem conclusion

  • Program has been changed to generate the new ADMIN START
statement seen below in the recover job when unloading the
table which was in an implicitly created database:

    ADMIN START FOR TABLE >table-qual<.>table-name<
     CLONE ACCESS(RO)

Program has also been changed to parse the new ADMIN
START statement and transform it to the 'DB2 -START'
command with the retrieved database name and table space
name from the DB2 catalog at run time.

Temporary fix
