Error description

• On iOS 7.0 device, the application crashes when invalid Region
  Format is set.  This is related to Cordova defect CB-9409.

Problem conclusion

• The issue arises from a region format being returned that does
  not include an underscore. The code expects there to be an
  underscore present in the string. So a check needed to be added
  in case there is no underscore in the region format string
