PI44103: ACCESS DENIED ERROR WHEN CREATING CHILD PAGE FROM A PAGE TEMPLATE

Error description

• In a setup where ...
  
  - a parent page has a content mapping to a separate library
  (other than "Portal Site")
  
  -AND-
  
  - the current user has Contributor permission on the site area
  that is referred to by the parent page
  
  ... creating a new child page from a page template that defines
  default content is not possible. The attempt fails with an
  error message displayed: "Access denied".
  Page templating code checks for privilege "Editor" instead of
  "Contributor".
  

Local fix

• Grant Editor (or higher) permission on the site area that is
  referred to by the parent page.
