APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IMS Connect ABEND0F8 in module IRRSVY00 using MSC TCP/IP and
  activating zIIP processing in IMS Connect.
  
  If zIIP processing is enabled the IMS Connect TCP/IP User
  Message Exit (HWSMSCX0) is entered in SRB mode.
  If security is needed the exit issues a RACROUTE call which
  invokes an SVC.  The SVC is not allowed to be issued in SRB
  mode and the result is ABEND0F8.
  
  The exit needs to switch to TCB mode to issue the SAF call and
  then switch back to SRB mode.
  

Local fix

• Do not enable zIIP processing in IMS Connect if you are using
  TCP/IP MSC.

  When processing an MSC TCP/IP message with RACF enabled on
  the receiving IMS Connect port, IMS Connect called RACROUTE
  to verify the passticket.  Since zIIP offload is enabled,
  IMS Connect was running in SRB mode.  When RACROUTE was
  called in SRB mode, it abended S0F8 because RACROUTE does
  not support SRB mode.
