Error description

• CICS VT with DMF enabled results in a return code mismatch

• Obtain usermod VIDCGLUE.XMI from CICS VT L3.
  

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABENDU3141 is issued for a return code  *
  *                      mismatch exception during DMF           *
  *                      processing when CICS VT sets an         *
  *                      incorrect RESP2 for the NOTFND          *
  *                      condition.                              *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  If a LENGERR condition is detected during DMF processing
  and this is then superseded by a NOTFND condition
  the RESP2 value may be carried over from the LENGERR.
  This return code mismatch results in ABENDU3141 being issued.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS VT DMF processing code is changed to return the
  correct RESP2 for a NOTFND condition.
  The code is also changed to ensure full comparison of VSAM and
  CICS VT results whena LENGERR condition is encountered.
