PI43267: TEST COMMAND RETURNS UNEXPECTED RESULTS WHEN SYSPROC.DSNAHVPM NOT INSTALLED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DB2 Path Checker exploits the DSNAHVPM DB2 stored procedure
  starting in DB2 Path Checker v4.2.
  
  If the DSNAHVPM DB2 stored procedure is not available Path
  Checker should revert to the host variable casting logic used in
  prior Path Checker releases.
  
  Prior to this fix the SYSPRINT report, for the TEST command,
  unexpectedly shows all statements deleted.
  
  This is due to incorrect recovery in TEST command when
  SYSPROC.DSNAHVPM not installed and active in DB2.
  

Local fix

• If you can install the DSNAHVPM DB2 stored procedure, you can
  avoid the problem.
